Sabway is better than some discordway build but a good discordway build, even if you afk, still kills faster than sabway.

While I've been very happy with the standard minion bomber using [skill]Jagged bones[/skill][skill]Animate bone minions[/skill][skill]Death nova[/skill][skill]Putrid bile[/skill][skill]Signet of lost souls[/skill][skill]Foul feast[/skill][skill]Infuse Condition[/skill][skill]Dwayna's sorrow[/skill], and sabway in general, I've been experimenting with:

Even at 0 spec, Spirit's Gift lasts 60s and is AOE condition removal that happens automatically without an activation time. It also allows you to fit Splinter Weapon in the build. What do you think would work best as the 8th skill? I'm thinking [skill]Foul feast[/skill] possibly, as spirit's gift doesn't catch everything, especially on ranged characters who aren't standing at the feet of what is dying.

The curses necro I've modified to this, since I don't think spiteful spirit is all that spectacular. I wasn't too happy with various other necro elites I tried, and the curses skills I mainly want from the bar are enfeebling blood and barbs.

You only need 9 air (5s blind) and just 5 earth for a 10s ward, so the attributes work out all right. It is reasonably good about using blind, and doesn't spam it needlessly; it tends to save it for clusters of physicals. What's interesting is, this is so much defense that when vanquishing I have been running with only 1 true healer (a hench monk). My third hero is currently a song of restoration paragon that buffs physicals, with some +energy chants to casters plus miscellaneous party health restore skills, while the rest of my party (henchmen) are all physicals. I'm still trying to tweak the paragon though.

When having only one healer, it's gotten a bit dicey a couple of times when not using the original minion bomber for AOE heals from dwayna's sorrow.

Any comments? I know sabway is very good as-is, but I'm one of those guys that can't stop tweaking things. Is there something that would be better than a paragon as the third hero?

Short answer? No, sabway is not really worth it compared to some other builds (definitely better than say, fire eles, though). But, it's definitely one of the better ones.

I mean, my honest opinion? After I started using discord, sabway was immediately obsolete.

Of course, I love fire eles as much as the next person, but they really aren't that great in hardmode. AOE scatters and low damage, it just ends up being a waste. I find that having 3 extra healers with limitless energy kinda helps durability in hard situations too...
